Civilians may leave Mariupol in eastern direction - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The civilian population can leave the city of Mariupol, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"I would like to emphasize that all civilians wishing to leave Mariupol for safety reasons can exit in the eastern direction via the Mariupol-Shyrokyne motorway," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
