Certain types of attack weapons must be determined which won't be deployed in Ukraine - Lavrov

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The objective of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine is the country's demilitarization, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Taking into account the record of the past decades following the Soviet Union's breakup, a clear objective has been set within the framework of this special military operation to ensure Ukraine's demilitarization. Particular types of attack weapons must be determined, which will never be deployed or created in Ukraine," Lavrov said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
