Employees of Czech diplomatic mission leave Yekaterinburg - source

YEKATERINBURG. March 2 (Interfax) - Employees of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Yekaterinburg, which said it was temporarily closed to applicants on February 25, have left the city, an informed source told Interfax.

"They left Yekaterinburg this morning," the source said.

Interfax currently does not have official confirmation of this information.

According to earlier reports, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic temporarily stopped serving applicants on February 25. "The Consulate General is temporarily closed," the consulate said on Facebook.

The Czech Republic earlier suspended the issuance of visas to Russian citizens and decided to revoke the authorization to work of the Russian consulates in Karlovy Vary and Brno and to temporarily close the consular establishments in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
