Members of Ukrainian delegation to talks with Russia unavailable since Tuesday - Belarusian political analyst

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Members of the Ukrainian delegation to talks with Russia on the Russian military operation are currently unavailable, Belarusian political analyst close to the talks' organizers Yury Voskresensky said.

"There has been no contact with practically every member of the Ukrainian delegation since yesterday. Absolutely none. That's the current situation. So, experts and the talks' organizers are unable to plan the beginning of talks," Voskresensky said on the Rossiya 24 television channel (VGTRK).

Belarus, the host country, hopes that the Ukrainians will show up for talks.

The first round of Russian-Ukrainian talks took place on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border on February 28. Russian delegation head, presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said the sides agreed to hold the second round of talks at the specified location on the Polish-Ukrainian border within the next two days.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that the Russian delegation would be waiting for the Ukrainians at the venue for the talks in the evening.
