Putin, Tokayev discuss Russian military operation in Ukraine, stronger partnership with Kazakhstan - Kremlin

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone call with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.

"The situation has been discussed in the context of Russia's special military operation aimed at protecting the civilian population of Donbas and the further strengthening of the Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and cooperation in various areas," the press service said.
