No panic in defense industry, govt defense orders remain priority - Deputy PM Borisov

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The Russian defense industry is working to fulfill government defense orders and does not panic, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.

"There is no panic. The task of fulfilling government orders remains a priority. Government defense orders were met over 98% last year. I am positive that we are capable of retaining the same level in the future," the Borisov office quoted him as saying at a meeting of the Military Industrial Commission board.

The board is constantly monitoring the status of the Russian defense industry and progress in the implementation of state defense orders, he said.
