Roscosmos asks Arianespace for guarantees OneWeb satellites won't be used for military purposes - Rogozin

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Roscosmos has asked the French space launch operator Arianespace to guarantee that OneWeb satellites will not be used for military purposes, corporation head Dmitry Rogozin said in a statement.

"We will demand that our French colleagues from Arianespace, as well as from OneWeb provide us with comprehensive legally binding guarantees within two days that the OneWeb company will not use its satellites for military purposes," Rogozin said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television channel (VGTRK).
