Kazakhstan stands for bolstering UN role amid geopolitical tensions - Tokayev
NUR-SULTAN. March 2 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan calls for enhancing the UN's consolidating role amid growing geopolitical tensions, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
"We stand for bolstering the United Nations and its consolidating role amid growing geopolitical tensions," Tokayev said on Twitter on Wednesday.
The president noted that Kazakhstan has become a full-fledged UN member. "We are fruitfully cooperating with the organization in matters of global security and building a harmonious society," he said.
