Twenty-four civilians killed, about 100 injured in Ukrainian army shelling in DPR for 13 days - DPR mission to JCCC

DONETSK. March 2 (Interfax) - More than 700 instances of shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been recorded in 13 days, 24 civilians have been killed and another 93 wounded, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire said.

"During 13 days of escalation, 725 instances of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were recorded. In total, the enemy fired 8,764 munitions of various calibers, including Tochka-U tactical missile systems," the DPR mission to the JCCC said in a statement released on Tuesday.

As reported, during this period "24 civilians were killed, four of them today, 93 civilians, including four children, suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity, and 30 people were wounded during the current day."
