Russian Budget Code to be amended to permit purchase of OFZ on NWF monies - materials to Wed govt meeting

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The Russian government will consider amendments to the Budget Code on Wednesday to authorize the placement of National Welfare Fund (NWF) monies in federal loan bonds, or OFZ, according to materials prepared for the government meeting.

Amendments are also to be made to the law On Amending the Russian Budget Code and Certain Russian Legislative Acts and On Authorizing the Specifics of the Implementation of Budgets of the Russian Federation's Budget System in 2022.
