MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - Moscow has always stood for talks, this approach applies to the situation surrounding Ukraine as well, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday.

"I would like to emphasize that Russia has always stood for the negotiating process," she told the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"It is our traditional stance, which also applies to the situation surrounding Ukraine in this case," she said.

"And we have said so many times," Zakharova said.
