Aggression against Russia is becoming concentrated, masks are off - Kremlin

MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - The harsh Western sanctions against Russia have turned concentrated, and all masks are off, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

As he was commenting on the French finance minister's statement that Western sanctions are aimed at destroying the Russian economy, Peskov said, "This is not the first statement of the sort. The aggressive actions against our country have become highly concentrated."

"Similar actions were taken before but, maybe, you could not see them with the naked eye," he said.

"So, as they say, all masks are off," Peskov said.

"Specialists were perfectly aware of all discriminatory measures, unfair competition, etc. Now the whole thing has become extremely concentrated," he said.
