DONETSK. March 1 (Interfax) - Forces of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) are offering civilian residents of the encircled city of Mariupol to leave the city via two specially opened corridors, DPR militia spokesman Eduard Basurin said.

"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation together with the People's Militia of the DPR are organizing two humanitarian corridors. Residents may exit Mariupol until March 2, 2022, using any of the two passages that is convenient to you," Basurin told reporters on Tuesday.

"The safety of movement is being guaranteed at sections of the E58 motorway both in the direction of the Zaporizhia region and in the direction of the Russian Federation," he said.
