Over 100 Ukrainian troops voluntarily lay down arms in 24 hours - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The Russian military has said that more than 100 Ukrainian servicemen have laid down their arms over the past day.

"Another 110 Ukrainian troops have voluntarily laid down their arms in the past 24 hours," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

Earlier, the ministry said that all those who laid down arms and stopped their resistance will be returned to their families.
