EU weapon supply to Ukraine destabilizes situation, may have dangerous consequences - Peskov

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The EU supply of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine is destabilizing the situation and may have dangerous consequences in the long run, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"From our point of view, the supply of weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainian territory may and will serve as an extremely dangerous and destabilizing factor, which in any case will in no way help achieve stability or restore order in Ukraine," Peskov said at a press briefing on Monday.

In the long run, such actions of the EU might have "much more dangerous consequences," he said.

"This once again confirms the correctness of measures taken by Russia," Peskov said.
