Peskov explains choice of Medinsky as negotiator with Kyiv by his presidential aide status, business qualities, profound expertise

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky has been chosen to negotiate with Ukraine due to his business qualities and profound expertise, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Medinsky has certain business qualities and profound expertise, he is a representative of very high level, a presidential aide," Peskov said at a press briefing on Monday.
