Almost 10,000 residents of DPR's Horlivka without water due to Ukrainian attacks
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Nine thousand people and forty infrastructure facilities are without water in Horlivka, the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), as a result of attacks on the city, the DPR territorial defense headquarters said on Monday.
"During attacks on Horlivka, military units of Ukraine disrupted the work of a waterway from Filtration Station No. 2. Nine thousand households, 23 boiler stations, nine schools, 11 kindergartens, and Hospital No. 2 were left without water," the report said.
According to the headquarters, water supply has been halted in the city's Central neighborhood, namely, Lenina, Ostapenko, Gayevoi, and Pushkinsky Streets.
Repair work will begin at 9:00 a.m., the report said.
