IMF tentatively ready to provide some $1.4 bln to Ukraine via RFI - National Bank head
KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is tentatively ready to provide around SDR 1 billion, or some $1.4 billion, through the Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI), Ukrainian National Bank head Kyrylo Shevchenko said.
There is a preliminary agreement on this score, but a final decision will be adopted by the IMF Board of Governors, Shevchenko said at a meeting of the Ukrainian parliamentary committee on finances.
"The figure for us is approximately SDR 1 billion, or some $1.4 billion," he said.
