JCCC records 643 instances of shelling in 11 days, 15 civilians killed, 34 injured in DPR

DONETSK. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Nearly 650 instances of shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been recorded in 11 days, 15 civilians have been killed, and 34 others injured, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire said.

"During 11 days of escalation, 643 instances of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been recorded. In total, the enemy fired 7,889 munitions of various calibers, including Tochka-U tactical missile systems," a statement issued by the DPR mission to the JCCC on Sunday said.

Fifteen civilians were killed and 34 others injured in the hostilities during this period.
