Russian troops suffer losses, injuries during special operation in Ukraine - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has reported a number of Russian troops killed or injured during a special operation in Ukraine.
"Unfortunately, some of our comrades have been killed or injured," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Sunday.
The Russian Defense Ministry is also aware of "a few captured Russian servicemen," he said.
"But our losses are many times less than eliminated nationalists, as well as the losses among servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed forces," Konashenkov said.
"Russian servicemen are displaying courage and heroism while performing combat tasks of a special military operation," the Defense Ministry spokesman said.
