Ukraine to close all border crossing points with Russia, Belarus, in Transdniestria's direction on Feb 28

KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has endorsed a decree on the temporary closure of certain border crossing points and control points in light of the situation in the country and the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said.

"In particular, the border crossing points and control points in the entire section of the border with the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, as well as in the central section of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border (Transdniestria), will be temporarily closed from 12 a.m. on February 28, 2022," the service said.

This decree also applies to some aviation checkpoints, including Boryspil, Kyiv (Zhuliany), Kharkiv, Odesa, and Lviv.

At the same time, it will be possible for Ukrainian citizens enter the territory of Ukraine.
