Russia was forced to launch several missiles at Ukraine from Belarusian territory at start of operation - Lukashenko

MINSK. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russian troops were forced to launch several rockets at Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

"Two or three missiles were launched from the areas approximately near Chernobyl, where the Russian troops were taking part in a drill, around 11 p.m. in the evening before this conflict [it started at 5.15 a.m. on February 24," Lukashenko said, answering journalists' question after voting in the referendum in Minsk on Sunday.
