Russian forces destroy 975 military infrastructure facilities in Ukrainian territory - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 975 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.

"The Russian Armed Forces have by now defeated 975 Ukrainian military infrastructure targets. They include 23 command and control facilities and communications centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, three radar posts, 31 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa air defense systems, 48 radar locators,"Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Sunday.

Eighth warplanes and seven combat helicopters, eleven unmanned aerial vehicles and two tactical Tochka-U missiles were downed during the operation, he said.

"We have destroyed 223 tanks and other armored vehicles, 28 airplanes [on the ground], 39 multiple-launch rocket systems, 86 field artillery guns and mortars, 143 special military motor vehicles," Konashenkov said.
