Over 5,000 Donetsk residents left with power supply as result of Ukrainian strike - mayor
DONETSK. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Over 5,000 people have been left without electric power supply as a result of a Ukrainian strike at the Kyivsky district of Donetsk, city mayor Alexei Kulemzin said.
"A total of 26 electrical substations are out as a result of a strike of Ukrainian militants at the city's Kyivsky district. A total of 5,500 consumers are left without electric power," Kulemzin said on a social network.
A teenager was injured as a result of the strike, the mission of the Donetsk People's Republic to the Joint Control and Coordination Center said.
"According to operative information, a female civilian born in 2006 was injured [...] in the strike," the mission said in a statement.
