Russian military specialists start clearing unblocked North Crimean Canal

SIMFEROPOL. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Military specialists have begun clearing the North Crimean Canal, which Russian troops unblocked on the Ukrainian territory, in order to resume water supplies to the peninsula, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"Specialists of the Russian Defense Ministry started clearing the waterway and restoring the infrastructure of waterworks of the North Crimean Canal in the Skadovsk district, Kherson region, Ukraine," the statement said.
