Website of United Russia party comes under DDoS attack

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The official website of the United Russia party has come under a DDoS attack, the party's press service said in a statement.

"A large-scale network DDoS attack on the infrastructure of er.ru, the official website of the United Russia, began at 5:45 p.m. [on Saturday]. The attack was aimed at overloading network channels and servers," the statement said.

Over 200,000 IP addresses taking part in the attack have been blocked, it said. The party's IT service has localized the problem thanks to modern cybersecurity means and protection service of its partners, it said.
