Russian specialists could have become hostages at Kourou spaceport - Rogozin
MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Roscosmos state corporation has recalled its specialists from the Kourou spaceport on French Guiana so that they do not become hostages amid sanctions, the corporation's head Dmitry Rogozin said.
"Amid sanctions which were announced against our Progress Rocket Space Center, we cannot simply allow to leave our specialists as hostages. Today, I informed our European colleagues that they [the specialists] are coming back home," Rogozin said on the air of the Soloviev Live channel on YouTube on Saturday.
