LPR troops occupy Shchastia and Muratove; DPR seize 3 settlements - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - The troops of the Luhansk people's republic (LPR) have advanced 46 kilometers, taking the settlements of Shchastia and Muratove, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.
"Today the LPR troops widened the attack area and have now advanced 46 kilometers deep from where the operation started, seizing the populated areas of Shchastia and Muratove. A group of troops of the Donetsk people's republic [DPR], advancing in the direction of Petrovske, moved a further ten kilometers taking Starohnativka, Oktiabrska and Pavlopil," Konashenkov said at an official briefing on Saturday.
