Soyuz rocket launching pad at Kourou Spaceport could be mothballed - Glavkosmos

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - The launching pad for the Soyuz rockets at the Kourou Spaceport could be mothballed for several years, Glavkosmos Director Dmitry Loskutov said.

"The equipment and gear could be stored mothballed for several years," Loskutov said on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

"According to our tentative assessment, it is a situation of force majeure," Loskutov said.
