S7 suspends flights to European destinations until March 13

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - S7 Airlines will cancel all its flights to Europe from February 26 to March 13.

The moves comes as a reaction to "the European countries closing their airspace," the airline said in a statement.

The airline has canceled flights to Burgas, Varna, Munich, Vienna, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Verona, Bologna, Milan, Alicante, Barcelona, Larnaca, Paphos, Thessaloniki, Nice, and Paris. Ticket sales for these destinations with departure dates after March 13 have been suspended. Passengers may get a full refund.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter earlier on Friday to unveil plans to close Poland's airspace for Russian airlines.
