MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The suspension of Russia's membership of the Council of Europe has been prompted by "sanction rage" and is fraught with ruining this organization, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said.

"In their sanction rage, they are ready to ruin the oldest common European organization," Grushko told Interfax on Friday, in commenting on the decision to suspend Russia's membership of the Council of Europe.
