Russia to guarantee security of employees of int'l organizations in Ukraine - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Russia will ensure the security of employees of international organizations in Ukraine, as the threat to them comes actually from Ukrainian nationalistic battalions rather than from the Russian troops, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"The Russian troops will take all the necessary measures to ensure the security of employees of the United Nations and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe missions in Ukraine. Their locations are known to us. I would like also to point out that the threat to the employees of international organizations comes not from the Russian armed forces but from Ukrainian nationalistic battalions," Zakharova said at a press briefing on Friday.
