More than 12,000 servicemen come to central Grozny for combat readiness check

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Feb 25 (Interfax) - A combat readiness check of the personnel of the defense and security agencies of the Chechen Republic has begun in the center of the capital of Chechnya, the Chechen State Television and Radio Company Grozny has reported.

"A combat readiness check of the personnel of the defense and security agencies of the Chechen Republic has taken place in central Grozny. The check involved more than 12,000 servicemen. Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic, addressed them. He said servicemen of the Chechen Republic are ready to fulfil any order from the country's president," the report said.
