Lavrov: We are interested in the Ukrainian people's independence

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The results of the events taking place in Ukraine depend on the circumstances, Russia is interested in a government that represents all people of Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"What the results of all this work will be, of everything that is happening now: we will see depending on the circumstances, as President Putin said," Lavrov told a press conference.

"He reaffirmed that we are interested in the independence of the people of Ukraine, so that they have a government that will represent them in their entirety, and so that they don't find themselves in a situation when they are under full external management," he said.
