Russian relations with int'l community to normalize one way or another - Peskov

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Relations between Russia and the international community will normalize when the world understands that Russia had to begin a military operation in Donbas, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"As they come to realize that the operation had to be launched and Russia had to take firm and resolute actions to ensure security, the normalization period will begin one way or another," Peskov said at a press briefing on Friday in response to a question about prospects of normalization of Russian relations with the world.

Moscow was ready for a coordinated response from the West, Peskov said. "We were expecting that," Peskov said in response to a question whether the Kremlin expected the international community to give such a coordinated response.
