DPR reports over 500 strikes, 6 civilian fatalities over past 9 days

DONETSK. Feb 25 (Interfax) - More than 500 strikes have been mounted on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), six civilians have died and another 15 have been wounded since tensions flared up nine days ago, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

"As many as 522 ceasefire violations committed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been recorded since the situation escalated nine days ago. In all, the adversary has fired 6,748 pieces of ammunition of different calibers," the DPR mission to the JCCC said in a statement on Friday.

Six civilians have died and another 15 have sustained different wounds over this period, it said.
