DPR, LPR troops breach Ukrainian defense with Russian air and artillery support - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continues, the troops of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics (DPR and LPR) have broken through the enemy defense line, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.

"The conduct of the special military operation continues," Konashenkov told a briefing on Thursday.

"Groups of DPR and LPR troops have breached Ukraine's well-equipped multi-layered defense, having moved six to eight kilometers deep. This became possible thanks to fire support from Russian artillery and army aviation," he said.
