Kremlin understands Russians' worries over Ukrainian situation; hopes for understanding - Peskov
MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - The Kremlin understands worries of Russians over the situation surrounding Ukraine; however, it is hoping for the people's understanding of the goals voiced by the president, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Of course, the situation is quite worrisome and of course this is a very difficult issue. But as the president explained in the address to Russians, this is all truly dictated by our national interests and dictated by care for the future of our country," Peskov told journalists on Thursday, when asked whether the Kremlin expects "social ruptures over the complicated situation."
