Belarus declares partial no-fly zone for civilian aircraft

MINSK. Feb 24 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Defense Ministry has declared a partial no-fly zone for civilian aircraft starting on Thursday.

"For the purpose of safe traffic in Belarusian airspace, the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces has decided to declare a partial no-fly zone for civilian aircraft in Belarus starting at 12:00 on February 24, 2022, along the following perimeter: the state border of the Republic of Belarus, Vysokoye, Baranovichi, Osipovichi, Krichev, and the southern border of the Republic of Belarus to Vysokoye," the ministry said.

"The restrictions are applied to altitudes from zero to 19,800 meters," the ministry said.
