Lukashenko promises to soon decide on recognition of DPR, LPR

MINSK. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said that the decision on the recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics will be made soon.

"This issue is on our agenda. We will do so in the near future the way both Russia and we need it done," Lukashenko told journalists after a meeting over the situation in Ukraine.

The First Man's Pool channel on Telegram, which is close to the Belarusian presidential press service, quoted Lukashenko as saying.
