MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Gazprom Energoholding LLC expects the official commissioning of the Pancevo thermal power plant in Serbia in the coming days, Pavel Shatsky, the company's First Deputy General Director, said during the VTB Investments conference.

An operating permit has already been obtained, Shatsky said, and the plant is essentially already operating in the market.

In March 2019, Gazprom Energoholding began construction of the 200 MW Pancevo thermal power plant in Serbia. The cost of the project is estimated at EUR 180 million.

The company said previously that it was also considering other projects to build power plants in the region.
