Ukraine preparing for visits by UK, Polish, Dutch PMs, foreign ministers from other European countries - FM Kuleba

KYIV. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Ukraine is preparing for visits by United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte within the next few days, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.

"Literally within the next few days, the prime ministers of the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Netherlands will be in Kyiv simultaneously. Foreign ministers keep coming in as well. My Greek counterpart is already in Ukraine, and my counterpart from the Netherlands is practically on his way. As well as my British counterpart," Kuleba said during an online press briefing on Monday.

The foreign ministers of a number of Central European countries will be visiting Ukraine next week, he said.

"Simultaneously, there will be visits by the foreign ministers of Germany and France, who are acting as mediators in the Normandy format," Kuleba said.

He said he encouraged all partners at the end of last year to come to Ukraine and be its "guests" precisely in January and February, chiefly to make sure that some high-ranking foreign officials are present in the country all this time.
