Russian military advisors present in Central African Republic, yet Moscow's involvement in internal affairs out of question - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax) - There are Russian military advisors in the Central African Republic, but Moscow does not interfere in the country's internal affairs, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We are developing relations with the Central African Republic at various levels," Peskov said.

"Indeed, our military advisors are stationed there, this is really so. But, clearly, any involvement in internal processes of the Central African Republic is out of the question," he said.

As to whether the advisors work for private companies or are deployed by the Russian state, Peskov said, "Our military advisors are there, yes."
