India could become first foreign buyer of Russia's S-500 missile systems - Deputy PM Borisov

MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - India could become the first foreign buyer of Russian S-500 surface-to-air missile systems, but these deliveries will start only after the Russian Armed Forces' needs are covered, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.

"After we deliver the required amount of these weapons to our domestic army, India will probably be the first on our list if it expresses its willingness to buy these advanced systems," Borisov told the RBC TV television channel.
