Some energy agreements to be signed by Moscow, Delhi during Putin's visit to India - Russian presidential aide

MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax) - Some energy agreements will be signed by Moscow and Delhi during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.

Some 20 bilateral documents are being prepared for Putin's visit to Delhi, he said. "The sides are now considering these agreements. But we are certain that a package of agreements will be signed in the context of the visit," Ushakov said.

Speaking about the composition of the Russian delegation that will accompany the president, he noted that it is small: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Ushakov.

"Bearing in mind that a whole number of important energy agreements are under consideration, we have agreed that [Rosneft CEO] Igor Ivanovich Sechin will join our delegation. He will also be present at the part of the visit in which the delegations will participate," Ushakov said.

He did not specify the agreements, saying the documents are under consideration.
