All Afghan diplomatic missions decided not to work with Taliban - ambassador to Russia

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - All Afghan diplomatic missions have made a collective decision not to work with the Taliban (movement banned in Russia), Afghan Ambassador to Russia Said Tayeb Jawad told Interfax.

"The prospect of the Taliban being recognized by the international community is very dim. No country has recognized them in the past 100 days, and it does not look like they are changing their behavior to gain legitimacy and recognition," Jawad said, commenting on events in Afghanistan and responding to a question whether there have been any contacts with the Taliban.

"All of the missions of Afghanistan abroad have collectively decided not to work with the Taliban," he said.
