Russia, Hungary agree on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates, similar agreements with other countries pending - Lavrov

MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Russia has agreed with Hungary on mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates, and similar agreements are pending with a number of other countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"There is mutual recognition of vaccination certificates, not vaccines. This works," Lavrov said at a forum with the theme "International Agenda of Russian Business: Challenges, Risks, Strategy of Interaction with the State" on Tuesday.

"Hungary has made the decision, and we have agreed with the Hungarians on it. And agreements with a number of other countries are pending," he said.
