Putin reaffirms Russia's readiness to ensure uninterrupted gas deliveries to Europe, including via Nord Stream 2 - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Nov 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Russia's readiness to ensure long-term uninterrupted deliveries of natural gas to Europe during a phone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, the Kremlin press service said.

"The issue of cooperation in the energy sector was touched upon at Mario Draghi's initiative. Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Russia's readiness to ensure long-term uninterrupted deliveries of natural gas to Europe, including using the capacity of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline," the press service said.

The leaders also positively assessed Russian-Italian relations, noting their constructive and mutually beneficial nature, it said.
