Governor of Belarus's Grodno region tasked with preparing logistical center to receive migrants

MINSK. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has tasked the head of the Grodno region with preparing to receive the migrants that are currently staying near the border with Poland, the First Man's Pool Telegram channel, which is believed to be close to the Belarusian presidential press service, said.

"The president has tasked the governor of the Grodno region and his regional aid with organizing overnight accommodation for the women and children staying on the border. In order to receive and warm freezing people, a logistical center is being prepared nearby. The refugees will be fed and warmed up there," the channel reported on Tuesday.

Some of the refugees that were earlier spotted at the Bruzgi border crossing in Belarus have moved away from the border. They are being directed toward a logistical center for accommodation.
