Russia at Paris talks proposes considering ways out of deadlock in Russia-EU relations - Lavrov

MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - During the 2+2 talks in Paris, which comprises defense and foreign ministers of Russia and France, Moscow proposed considering ways out of the deadlock in Russia-EU relations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We proposed discussing ways out of the deadlock that emerged in relation between the European Union and us, and we recalled that some time ago, we welcomed the idea forwarded by the president [of France, Emmanuel Macron], the idea of forming an architecture of European security together with Russia rather than as a counterbalance to our country," Lavrov told reporters in Paris.
